About Us

The N.E.W. Program utilizes a multidisciplinary team that includes experts in bariatric medicine, nutrition, exercise, clinical psychology, and laparoscopic surgery, and as a result, our center offers one of the most extensive aftercare programs in America. 

Surgeons Brian Quebbemann and Justin Braverman lead the N.E.W. Program’s bariatric surgery team. 

Brian B. Quebbemann, MD, FACS has lived and practiced surgery in Orange County since 1997. As a nationally respected expert in bariatric surgery, his practice focuses entirely on laparoscopic weight-loss surgery.

Justin D. Braverman, MD, FACS moved to Orange County from Chicago to join The N.E.W. Program and dedicate his career to the discipline of bariatric surgery. Dr. Braverman earned both his master’s of science degree in physiology and his medical doctorate from Finch University of Health Sciences at The Chicago Medical School.
